Opportunities

There are as many ways for me to help your team, as there are different teams out there. You'll find below, a few ways that I have brought clarity to teams and organizations in the past - these are options as well as primers for other opportunities.

Facilitation

It is not always easy for a team to facilitate themselves in tough or intensive conversations. Focus too much on solving the problem and the conversation goes off the rails, focus too much on facilitation and it is difficult to bring fresh ideas to the table. This is true for conversations or meetings focusing around self inspection as much as it is for solving a client's challenge. I have facilitated numerous conversations, meetings, retrospectives, and brainstorming sessions. I can do this for your team as well.

Observe and Advise

There is something unique about seeing a long term challenge with fresh eyes. Being able to simply be present and observe a teams' patterns brings with it new perspective. I have sat in on team meetings (the more routine, the better) and the provided my observations and a few paths forward to the team itself and to the team leadership. This provides a quick and low-investment way to identify solutions to long term challenges.

Ongoing Team Coaching

The best way to get long term change is through long term work with the team. While there is a lot that can be done through single or in-frequent interaction with a team, holding regular interactions with a team -or even being embedded within the team- brings deep and long lasting change.

Workshops

Workshops are a key approach to creating understanding and alignment with a team. I have run a few workshops with multiple teams over the years, refining the workshop each time (Getting the Most From a Daily Sync, Building and Leveraging a Team Working Agreement, Estimating and Sizing Work). I am also able to build out a bespoke workshop for your specific team and situation.
